Basement Renovation | Before, During & After

Once you’ve finished cleaning and sealing the basement walls, you need to put some kind of insulation between the walls and the floor, preferably board insulation. This way, you’ll have an insulating layer on the walls so that your electric bills won’t increase any further. Also, you need to make sure that you buy some kind of air conditioning ductwork, and place it between the basement wall and the attic so that the heating and cooling costs will be less.

Finally, once the basement wall is finished and all of the parts of it are dry, you need to check the floors to make sure that they aren’t cracked or worn down. You can fix this by applying new paint or by sanding away the damaged area.
